FS: 16g turbo

I got this from one of the member here. It's a Evo 8 turbo, used. I can't remember how old it is, but it's in good shape. I was gonna put this on my s2000, but things changed.

I'm asking $250 OBO for it. It comes with oil line and all.

I'll try to post some pictures up tonight. It's just been sitting as a coffee table conversation starter for like 6 months.

Here are the pix. They're good looking. I checked the play, and it's not bad at all. It's got the normal 16g play, which is just so slight and it shouldn't be a problem at all. This actually had less play than my 16g on my Evo. It doesn't have the wastegate, but it does come with oil lines, which I have to find.

but wastegates are like free these days for this turbo and lines are better off with an fittings anyway.

I took the hotside out and cleaned it a little. it'll probably need to be dipped before you use it again, which I would recommend doing anyway.

just get a bucket and some degreaser mised with water and just let it soak in there overnight.

Someone told me about an acid bath, but that's for something extremely dirty. this is ok, but needs to be emptied out before installing, so no particles goes back into your engine.


BTW, I lowered the price -$50. I just want to get rid of it, so I could take that money and buy an XBOX or something. lol
