WB/FS lookins fur me a downpipe.

ok like the title says i need me a downpipe.

mine is rubbing the transfercase so i need a new one.

it has to clear the 6spd tranny and the transfercase.

if anyone has one or looking to upgrade and give me their old one lemme know.

the flex section of the pipe will rub when engine is torqued and will damage the transfercase. unless you have the 5spd.

Mine is currently in a delicate balance of barely touching both the TC and the oil pan ... TTP as well.

yeah mine is like that when the car is not running

but when the engine torques it will rub. change yours out immediately.

i would post up the pics but i dont have the cable to link up to my phone now.

I might pull mine off this weekend and "free up" a little room around the oil pan so I can adjust it away from the TC a little. I'd like to have a torch for that though ...

i was thinkin about cutting out the flexsection and put a 3" pipe on there but since it wont be SS it will crack over time.

i dont know what to do...

new dp costs arount 250$ ish...

any ideas?

i wish i can make the dp i got now to fit right.

Come to town and let Walker fix you up ... he should be able to replace it with a stainless section and make any adjustments you might need for fitment.

i also need you to log my car again and see if its knocking or pullin timing. i peak at 30 psi now and im getting scared. a lil. hehe

I just made a small dent in mine for extra clearance

30 psi peak? that's just insane...I wonder why I can't go past 23 psi without my engine knocking like crazy, maybe the cams...err

that can't be a good thing. it'll compromise the structural integrity of the tcase.

i ordered the new downpipe that dont rub the tc.

and some stiffer AMS motor mounts

Good call ... Mine doesn't have any marks, but I've been running an upgraded front engine mount for a while.

Which did you end up going with?

soemthing they had in stock that dont rub... so they say.

they are megans and they dont rub as of now... the car vibrates much much more due to no flex and stiffer engine mount.

i like the sound it has more of the metal ping sound to the exhaust.
