| It's interesting that they've kept very similar MSRPs. | |

| that's a good news. i'm sure the dealers are about to raise $10k on it though.
I'm glad GSR model will come with the 5 speed, but it's tempting for the sequential gear box, blisten, eibach, wing, hid and the BBS forged rims on the MR model for just $6000 more.

| If you road race you want the SST, if you drag race you want the 5 speed. | |

| I think if you drag race you want the DSG SST because it could probably shift faster, and it's probably more durable than 5 speed. if you road race, definitely 5 speed. heel and toe is definitely needed in road racing.
throttle, brake hard, heel and toe/brake, throttle control, wot throttle, brake hard, heel and toe/brake, throttle control, wot throttle...
and so on. road racing is so relaxing.

| Nah, the SST has a built in rev limit that wont let you launch in the right rpm range. It was specifically built to be an auto cross, track car. It also can not hold as much power as the 5 speed can. | |

| i'm pretty sure the built in rev limiter is electronically controlled, which would be the first thing people are going to replace and raise the rev limiter. I'm sure they'll come up with a way to mod this pretty quickly.
but i agree, holding the power will be the question. it'll be one complicated item to mess around with not to mention expensive (to reinforce it for drag/road racing).
