So I just did a plug change and noticed something that was not to appealing. Check out my plugs, then look at the condition of my plug wires.

And now the plug wires. Both had a small abrasion. I tend to think this is actually from the age of the wires.

if that's white, it's lean as crazy. if it's chocolate, light brown color with a line just above the curve on the wire, then it's good. Timing line should be right above the curve on the wire.

They're copper plugs.

look on the bottom to see the number. if it's BPR7ES, it's stock temp, if it's BPR8ES, it's one step colder.

That and you need to measure the gap. You'll want to be .032 if you're stock mods, .024 ~ .027 if you're modded.

Yeah, I was running BR7ES, which are 1/2 step colder. Gap is fine for my mods.

4k rpm 5th gear misfire? that's 03 ecu being too sensitive. you need mitsu flash, then flash again with aftermarket. that fixed my problem with misfire.

I have read that the 03 ECU is a bit sensitive, but this just started happening.
