which brand should i go with?

i'll be getting some new rubber soon and i wanna try something new.

ive always loved the rt615 and had like 4 sets in the past 2 years.

and tried the michelin ps2's and hate them.

i wanna try something that is good handling and cheap.

the falken that sung's got on his honduh is "awesome" says sung but i dont know...

the price is awesome. but i dont know how it handle like with my car.

suggestions?

since i have them nitto nto1r's i wont be needing uber sticky tires for DD.

The yoko ES100's weren't bad and they were too expensive.

ive tried them es100. i liked it on my miata. but then it was a miata.

i cant have too less grip.

im actually thinkin bout the falken 912's. either that or the fk 420?'s

Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec $160 ea. for 255/40 17

for $160 id rather stick with falken rt-615. which is $145.

oh and i need 18" tires.

I thought you had 17x9? According to all the buzz in the autox community, the Dunlop blows the Falken out da wata.

but i got the nitto nto1r's on them
thats as close yous gonna get w/o actually getting the hoosiers.

i tried the falken rt215's and i liked it eventually i was gonna try the new stuff.
you nor sara did little to change my opinion.

my nittos will out perform anytire youve ever had.

i got meh some falken 912's and they suck ballz
do not get them.

the car handles like a civic now. lol

they do have somewhat of a stiff sidewall but then youjerk the car the car gets loose on the rear.
they have like 5000000 tread wear rating.
and queit as hell and have awesome traction in rain. and prolly snow.

but dry conditions? they is a nono.

have you tried rt-615's? if so how they compare?

The Dunlops have been revised with a new compound. I've never had either, but buzz all over the boards is that the dunlop is superior in every way to the Falken and only costs $20 more per tire. Well, 17's anyway. I've already ordered them myself. You can see how you like them when I have em mounted. These reviews may help

I've been hearing lots about the Dunlop Z1 Star Specs recently ... supposedly far superior to the 615. they take heat much better and and overall grippier.
