| Long story short: I kept my brother's car for him while he was in Iraq. He gave me a free 'canvas'! Anyways, the object of this build was Sound Quality and cleanness. The only requirements were that it had to siund good and not take up too much crucial trunk space. So, without further delay, I present to you: Darxide's 2002 Ford Focus ZTSSpecs:HU: Kenwood KVT719dvd Front Stage: Polk db6501 (6.5" components) Rear: Polk db651 (6.5" coaxials) Front channel Amp: Kicker zx350.4 Sub Amp: Kicker zx 750.1 Sub: Resonant Engineering SE 12" Wiring: Tsunami Before pic of the dash: Before pic of the trunk: | |

| Any idea how much weight was added with all the sound deadning?
I've been thinking of doing the sound mat thing when I get rid of the mouse fur interior trim and that horrible HORRIBLE carpet.
Don't get me wrong I know why its so thin and cheap but I'm looking for a little more civility in my DD.

| Weight from 150 cu ft of sound deadening was only 31 lbs!!! Well worth it!!!!
Matt, no, I didn't build the kickpanels, just ordered some prefab. They worked out great and saved me time and money.
Joey, where is your crossover set at for the polks?
