| no, but you would have to use a spacer on the exhaust manifold to make it stick farther out to clear the starter. And then you would have to get an adapter plate for the water pump, unless you buy a water pump for a 4g64 (many people reuse the 4g63 with adapter) and then after that, you have to use a different timing belt (need a slighty longer one) and you need to located 4 oil squiters and bolts for the 4g64 and find someone that will drill and tap the provisions in the block for them. Not worth it. I have researched it all for about 6 months and the 2.3L stroker was more bang for the buck, especially when you are talking only .1 litre increase in displacement. Trust me. | |

| Yeah, and you have to use the 4g64 cam gears and timing belt.
Although, the 4g64 block is easier to get a hold of and cheaper.

| I seen an add for brian crower where with a 4g64 plus his stroker kit and an evo head it would make it a 2.66L. Thats what I was kind of wanted to do. | |

| You will loose alot of RPM band. Plus his prices are quite high.
A built 2.0L can rev to about 9k safely A built 2.3L can rev to about 8500- maybe 8800 pushing it hard A built 2.4L can rev to about 8200-8300 and it get progressively less from there.

What he said.
Although, right now, SBR has a sale on their 4g64 and they will give you some credit if you give them your 2.0.

| I'm still siding with you on this one, Will. But the option is available if he really wanted to go that route. | |
