Steele on Friday night?

Anyone up for some Friday night drags tomorrow at Steele?

I tuned Q's car last night and he wants to see how much it has improved. I'm going with him and aiming for lower 12s. Let's get some more Evos there and show the domestics what's up.

If I can get my fluids done at a reasonable time then I will come. If not, I'll just go to MMP tonite and Steele later.

It was a pretty good night at Steele. Lots of people, but we got 3 runs in. My best was 12.6 @ 110 (1.6 60' ) and Q landed a 12.5 @ 111.

Those are good.

Steele is 120 miles, I think, so about 2 hours.

if you are running you need to be there no later than 8:30am, if you just want to watch and catch some rides the first car is off at 10:00am.

There is a 1/4 mile track about 15 miles from my house. Thats where I usually go. It's called Montgomery Motorsports Park or as we affectionately call it: MMP.

I'm about 2hours from Silver Dollar Raceway and just over an hour from Commerce.

Wish there was a track closer to me.

yep! our region allows passengers which is honestly just as much fun as driving. that way you can get a better feel for what autox is all about. you are more than welcome to ride with me if you decide not to run.

Yeah, they never really do. Snell M2000 is the current required spec though ... yours should be fine. I think Embry runs a bike helm too ...
