M3 is super nice but I can't afford it and have enough room for random spending.

Got it free. It was yellow but I painted it white. Likin it sofar. I will upgrade to a 1000 in about couple of monthes. I should have gotten a 1000 from the start. But he didn't have a 1000 only the 600.

Matt I suggest you get a 1000 and be happy. Its not too much of a bike for a starter. Well... It is for retards who can't control themselves but not for us who are experienced in higher speed driving and not retarded.

Installed my Works Short Shifter in the evo - thing kicks some major ass.
The 5spd GSR EVO X transmission felt horribly notchy - now its as smooth as butter and you only gotta move your hand half as much as you use to. Knob is positioned a bit lowered and closer to drivers side which is a lot more comfortable.

MR is sweet, but I don't like the idea of the super nice tranny limiting me to power.
Not that I have crazy plans but I don't want to be limited by it if I ever decided to go faster.

I want to get a base dyno and then get it tuned - but I'm holding off to see whether or not I will be getting an exhaust. I'm really enjoying the quietness ... but I'd also like that bit of extra oomph (which a tune by itself might be good enough).

I have to do 2 at a time because I don't have 4 jackstands. I also did it after work yesterday and it's not a quick process ...

It took about 6 hours to do those 2 wheels, but that included a couple of trips to Advance to replace my 1/2" to 3/8" adapter that sheared off twice.

I DESPISE tire shops and their impact guns. I actually rolled the car back about 4" while removing one of the rear lug nuts ... I eventually bought a 13/16" 1/2" drive that would fit my lug key so I wouldn't shear off another adapter.

I'm planning to paint the other 2 tonight and stencil my logo on the IC tomorrow before the open house at EPM.

the flat black w/ clear looks like a dark gray with some nice depth to it ... it looks like 2 stage paint rather than a shiny black. I like it. I used Krylon "Banner Red" for the lip ... it's a little brighter than the Brembo red, but close. They look nice.
