NT-01 vs V700?

I know that there are stickier tires out there, but these are the 2 tires in my price range. I'm looking for a dedicated auto-x tire that will perform better than the stock A046. So, any thoughts?

I did the search and apparently NT-01 isn't still the V700 level. They performed inferior to v700 on times. and soft walls were the complaints.

Second question ... if I go with V700 ... do you think the 255/40s are worth the extra ~$100 over the 245/45?

if you had the 17x9 the 255 would be better but you got 17x8's ...

i would put that toward your next set of v700.

if you want 255 from 235, maybe, but it's not worth it. besides, this isn't for road racing, for auto-x it might be better to go little skinny.
