Royal Purple, Valvoline Durablend, and Penrite Synthetic were the best performers. | |

| well on evom.net everyone told me that the RP was wrost... even tho the article tested them.. not sure who to believe because shepracing recommends redline mt-90 as well.. and they build tranny's? | |

| But, do they recomment MT-90 in THEIR transmissions or in the stock one? MT-90 is good stuff ... likely better than the stock transmission itself ... I recall reading about a few failures using straight MT-90. | |

| RP isnt reccomended in an evo.

| i called up RP and actually found out that was for automatic transmission fluids only because they did not back it up with there warranty but since then they have came up with a new ATF which is backed up with there warranty and is now safe to use... but that was never the case on a 5 speed transmission. I have not found anything on there website stating it is not recommended for Mitsubishi's | |

| Redline is garbage, unless you go shockproof level 3, the highest one.
RP from what I've been gathering is ok, but I didn't hear any significant gain from it from stock fluids. it's just purple and cost more money.
