mounting/balance is i think 70$

I just ordered some falken ziex 912's. r-compound, 30,000 miles, $400 shipped, and it's asymetric, so you could rotate left and right if you want.

i wanna try that new dunlop direzza tire.

Dunlop SP 9000's are crap. Worst tire I've ever had! I had them on several cars only because they were free. My father is good friends with the President of Dunlop North America so I get Dunlops for free (I have to pay shipping though). Direzza dz101 are o.k. if you want something to slide around on but that is for fun only. They do not grip for shit. I am probably going to ask the pops to get me a set of Direzza Z1 in 235/4517 or 245/4017 next. Not decided on size yet, and I have to wait until they are stockpiled (plenty of them laying around)in the Dunlop Warehouse otherwise I have to pay cost for them. If I don't go with the Z1s I will probably go with Falken RT-615 like everyone else.

7 on the tread? Direzza Z1? Anyways, I can't get em for ya, sorry. I would if I could, but the pops wont even do it for my best friends. He can only get so many a year and I go through a hell of a lot of tires.

I've had those as well. They are O.K., but I wouldn't put them on an evo unless you are going drifting. They are also discontinued, replaced by Direzza DZ101. You should be able to find them for under $100 if you really want them. I have DZ101s on my Civic Si right now. They grip better than the SP Sport 9000 and FM901s I had on there before, plus they give fair warning when they are about to break loose (always a good thing, where as the SP 9000s were so unpredictable it was crazy). I can't wait to get the Direzza Z1. I have high hopes for them. Dunlop needs a really good streetable motorsports tire in their lineup. We'll see when I get them

I just ordered my new street tires ... 245/45/17 Hankook RS2 Z212.

I chose them over the Azenis mainly for wet traction. I don't really drive my car hard on the street, so that's not a huge concern. I really wanted the tread pattern on the Hankooks for the chance of a wet auto-x course. The huge outer contact patches on the Azenis are great for dry pavement, but not so much in the rain.

I went with a set of Fuzion ZRi's - Daily driving FTW!

The guy at the tire center tried to sell me those ... I wasn't sold on the idea. 300 treadwear and pretty small tread blocks. No idea on the sidewall stiffness either ...

It all depends on what you need them for.

Just a note guys ... if you order from Edge Racing, someone has to sign for the package in person. UPS won't leave the package for you at your house.

I just recieved my FREE (nothing better than free tires) shipment of tires from Dunlop North America. I got a set of 245/40R17 Direzza DZ101's and a set of 245/40R17 Direzza Z1. I'll rip through them pretty fast so I'll let everyone know the differences between them. I can't decide which ones to put on first...?

i need some tires 245/40/18 hook a brotha up~! lol
